After the Storm, comes the Rainbow
The artwork, painted on the metal shutter of a shop front, caught my eye. Its message said: “After the Storm, comes the Rainbow”. This gift of nature is a major sign in the Bible of God’s care. The painting then thanked all of the NHS, and other key workers, for their outstanding service to our communities. Many of you will have shown your appreciation, in similar ways, on your windows and doors.
On this Trinity Sunday, we reflect on how God the Father, Son and Spirit, inspires us by our baptismal gifts of Faith, Hope and Love. By responding to these graces, we join with our fellow parishioners as Ambassadors for God wherever we go.
Nurturing the ‘culture of encouragement’ is so vital right now. Let’s commit ourselves to being a ‘Trinity’ -Lights of Faith, Hope and Love,-shining for all to see and draw strength from.
