Do astronomical work for Christ
During July, in the night sky, a spectacular shooting star named ‘Neowise’by NASA,will be visible. This event reminds me of how Pope John Paul I’s impact, after reigning for only 33 days (August-September 1978), was described by the Vatican:
“He passed in the Church and the world like a whirling comet which casts a jet of inextinguishable light, like a flash of hope that leaves hearts ablaze, like a marvellous rainbow charged with promises for the poor, weary, divided and restless humanity.”
May we too, in the power of the Holy Spirit, through prayer, the Mass and the Sacraments, also do astronomical work for Christ!
