Nature’s Song

As the second week of Pope Francis’s Season of Creation’begins, our School Patrons remind us that the Scriptures and the Book of Nature tell the story of God’s everlasting love – in ways that are always refreshingly new.

As St Gregory observes: “The Bible is a stream of running water, where alike the elephant may swim and the Lamb walk without losing its feet.”

While St John Fisher invites us to “Behold the rose, the lily, the violet; behold all the other creatures of this world -all these were of His making, all the beauty and godliness of Him they received it.”

May we join them in their songs of praise.
