We can’t thank you enough
As lockdown continues to ease, we need to keep remembering the decades-long magnificent work done by the NHS and other key workers.l was moved to read an article about Hussein ‘The Boy With Two Hearts’ whose family spent two years fleeing from Afghanistan to try and save his life. 19 operations later, Hussein lived for another 17 years. As his biography by his brother Hamed, concludes: “it is a story of hope, shining a light on the wonderful healthcare system that my family will never take for granted.” As a nation, may we applaud it in our memories too.
